Stage Crew Registration

Registration begins on Thursday January 2 at 9AM.

What is the Stage Crew?

Stage Crew members quietly move scenery, props, and standing microphones on and off the stage, as directed by the parent Stage Managers. They are essential to making the show flow smoothly! The Stage Managers will select eight Stage Crew Members from those who apply by January  9th. All Stage Crew applicants will be notified of the result by email prior to talent show ACT registration. Fifth graders who are not chosen for Stage Crew may join the Refreshment Crew or register to perform in an act, space permitting.

What is the time commitment?

There are two MANDATORY events that all Stage Crew members must attend:

  • Dress Rehearsal on the afternoon/evening of Friday, March 27 held between 4:00-8:30 PM, at CCHS. Students are not expected to attend the entire dress rehearsal, but they MUST be present for their portion of the show (their “sets”), during which they will practice light, sound and prop cues; they will then be dismissed to go home.

  • The Talent Show on Sunday, March 29; crew members arrive at 1:30 PM and may leave after clean-up after the show.

And finally…

  • A student must choose to participate in ONE of the following: working on the Refreshment Crew, the Stage Crew, or performing in an act.

  • Application forms must be submitted online. (No registrations will be accepted via email or phone.)

  • Each student should sign up for Stage Crew on his or her own separate online form.

Every child participating in the Willard Talent Show may be photographed and videotaped unless we hear otherwise from parents. Images may be used by the Talent Show Committee and the PTG to publicize PTG and Willard events. If you do NOT wish to have your child photographed or videotaped, contact talentshow@willardptg.org.
