The Willard School and PTG sponsor many activities during the regular school day.
The Willard PTG presents several high quality artistic programs that supplement and enhance our students’ education throughout the school year. Included in the roster are several all school cultural assemblies and curricula-related assemblies for some grade levels.

During the winter or early spring the Willard School takes action to help others in need by sponsoring a food drive for Open Table. The 5th Grade class helps advertise, collect, organize, and deliver the donations.
Get Here Green Week
In 2010 Willard started a new tradition of Get Here Green Week, which promotes greener forms of transportation to and from school. The EarthCare Club often tallies and compares information about transportation choices before and during Get Here Green Week.
Willard Students traditionally celebrate the 90th day of school – the half-way point of the school year. Many students choose to dress with a “half way” theme. Students may also contribute a half dollar; the resulting funds are donated to a local charity.

Parent-At-Lunch (PAL) Days
PAL is a chance for parents to have lunch at school with their child(ren) during their regularly scheduled lunch time. PAL days typically occur at the end of each month. Parents must RSVP and be CORI approved to attend. Unfortunately PAL will not occur for the 2011-2012 school year due to space restrictions.
The Willard School principal, Pat Fernandes, offers several coffees throughout the school year during which parents can lean about the latest Willard news and ask the principal questions. Sessions are offered both during the school day and in the evening.
