Back-to-School Coffee
Usually held at a Willard parent’s home on the morning during the first week of the school year, the Back-to-School Coffee allows parents to meet and reconnect with other Willard families after the summer break. Sign-up sheets for various activities and committees are also available (as at the Open House)

Book Fair
The Willard Bookfair transforms the cafeteria into a bookstore for two days in the fall. Each classroom visits the fair during school hours and the children can purchase books. There is also an evening time for families with childcare and activities. Each purchase directly supports the library collection.

Carnival
Willard Carnival is an old-fashioned style carnival with game booths, amusements, a cakewalk, a raffle and silent auction, food, and prizes. It is usually held on a Sunday in early June. It is a significant fundraiser for the Willard PTG.

Family Game Night
Family Game Night is an evening of fun and games for the whole family! It is traditionally held in the late fall.

Family Math Night
Family Math Night is an evening MATH fun for the whole family! There are games and puzzles for all ages organized around a theme such as the Olympics. Family Math Night is traditionally held in March.

Ice Cream Social
Meet friends – old and new – while enjoying ice cream and playing on the playground at the Ice Cream Social at the start of the school year!

METCO Family Friends
The METCO Family Friends Program pairs each Boston resident student with two Concord resident students to serve as cooperating parnters and “good neighbors”. The program provides a late bus one Tuesday each month to encourage playdates in Concord ad Boston.

Parent Social
Call the babysitter! It’s a Willard event just for parents! The Willard Parent Social isusually held in the fall. Light food, desserts, and drinks are provided.

PTG Appreciation Party
Call the babysitter again! The Willard PTG hosts another party at the end of the school year to thank all PTG volunteers. The PTG board of directors for the coming year are introduced.

Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF Drive
Willard families are invited to participate in the annual Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF drive. The Willard PTG supplies UNICEF boxes, collects the funds, and sends them to UNICEF.
