The annual Willard Spelling be will be held on Friday, March 22, 2013 from 5:00-8:00pm in the Willard Auditorium. Students in grades 3 through 5 are invited to participate. Third and Fourth graders compete in teams, while fifth graders compete individually or in teams.
Admission is free to this fun event filled with friendly competition and educational challenge. The more spectators the merrier. We hope to see you at the BEE!

Word Lists
5th graders: (7:00-8:00 p.m.)
- Compete individually or as teams
- Words from National Bee List (called Spell It!) and 5th grade priority words.
4th graders: (6:00-7:00 p.m.)
- Compete in teams of three.
- Form a team – pick a team name!
- Words chosen from 4th and 5th grade priority words and Bee lists.
3rd graders: (5:00 -6:00 p.m.)
- Participate non-competitively in teams of three.
- Form a team – pick a team name!
- Words chosen from 3rd and 4th grade priority words and Bee lists.
Parents:
- Each team / group needs one parent coach.
- Coach will serve as our contact person.
- Coach will be responsible for communicating and coordinating with your team, and encouraging your team to practice prior to the Bee.
- Help pick a team name!
Once you have assembled your team, please submit your registration via e-mail to Madeleine Pooler at spellingbee@willardptg.org. Please note that we will not be accepting paper registrations this year. If you experience any difficulty registering or would prefer to do so by phone, please call Madeleine Pooler at (978) 318-1903.
In the unlikely event that we experience a deluge of responses, please note that we will only be able to accommodate the first the first 8 teams for the 3rd and first 6 teams for 4th grades. Registrations will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. You will receive a confirmation of your registration as well as a word list upon receipt of your registration.
