The annual Willard Book Fair is a PTG fundraiser for our school library. The library benefits from the proceeds generated by books sales by receiving in-kind donations of current books for the library collection.
The Book Fair is held on a Monday and half-day Tuesday. It is open during school hours both days as well as Monday night. It is held in the cafeteria.
Our goal is to provide appropriate books for every reading level and price level to keep the kids excited about reading! We stock books from the authors who visit Willard through the Authors’ Fest, Easy Readers with familiar characters, MCBA Award books and popular series such as Horrible Harry and the Magic Tree House, as well as many non-fiction books about social studies, science and poetry! We also stock graphic novels and fun-to-do books. Prices begin at $3.99 and average around $12.
All classes will have an opportunity to visit the Book Fair during the school day. The classroom schedule will be published nearer the time. Parents are invited to come to the Book Fair when their child’s class visits during the school day or to stop by Monday evening.
We are looking for volunteers to help provide supervision during classroom visits, organize books, be cashiers, and many other small tasks. Please email us if you are interested!
